‘GTA 5’ nudity, strong sexual contents and user created features hinted (Photos)

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has posted their rating summary for “GTA 5.” According to their listing update on Aug. 2, the organization revealed that the sequel has been given a “Mature” rating, which is on par with the rest of the installments from the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise.

“GTA 5” features a variety of adult situations. The Entertainment Software Rating Board listed the following content descriptors: alcohol usage, blood, drugs usage, gore, intense violence, mature humor, nudity, strong language and strong sexual content. The nudity and strong sexual content elements are interesting considering that Rockstar Games got into legal troubles in the past due to the “Hot Coffee” mod that was discover in “GTA: San Andreas,” which added a sex mini-game.

Furthermore, the Entertainment Software Rating Board also cautioned that “GTA 5” may feature online user-generated content that will be unrated. This suggests that the multiplayer mode, which is called “Grand Theft Auto Online,” would feature some kind of customization options that will allow players to edit assets from within the game’s world.

As with the previous installments, “GTA 5” would likely stir up some controversies with the mainstream media. In addition to the “Hot Coffee” incident, the series has been criticized for its glorification of drunken driving, drug usage, violence and other issues.

A batch of screenshots from “GTA 5,” which is coming out for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 17, is located in the slideshow on top of this article.
