News, Games, Geeks: A new way to cover the best in game news and geek culture

If being a writer, journalist, and gamer can teach anyone, it's that these crafts are ever changing as one hones a skill. New ideas, new technologies, and new ideologies come into place that, for whatever reason, sparks an inspiration of change. This is one of those occasions wherein the popular Bi-weekly News Roundup is going to end and be replaced by a new feature.

When the idea of covering the news first sparked an interest, it started off as a weekly wrap up segment with an accompanying Re-Action! News video, via the ReActionExaminer channel on YouTube. Then, in the following months, news slowed down so the weekly news was changed to a bi-weekly news wrap up. After a long time running the series, another problem arose in which news became irreverent, at times, to cover them two weeks after it happening.

Disbanding the Bi-weekly News Roundup comes at a hard choice, but it will be replaced by something better. Something that also encompasses what the first goal of Nerdiosity Adventures tried to accomplish, but has now become its own thing. This week, going forward, the replacement supplement for news will be called News, Games, Geeks, or, as it will be shortened, NGG. It’s simple, straightforward, and practically explains the setup in the title.

NGG will encompass not only game news for the week, but also nerd and geek culture from comic books, art, fan projects, videos, as well as highlighting previously posted articles prior to NGGs release. Then at the end of the month, a monthly NGG will be implemented to showcase the most memorable stories for that time. Creating a weekly and monthly news segment is just going with the times. Will it last? Will the Bi-weekly come back like a phoenix? Only time will tell. For now, enjoy the first iteration of the Weekly NGG kicking off tomorrow.
