‘Pokemon X’ and ‘Pokemon Y’ double-sided poster details revealed (Photos)

EB Games Canada has provided the first details regarding the double-sided poster of “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” on the Nintendo 3DS. According to a listing update from their website on Aug. 1, the item will only be available as a pre-order bonus exclusively from the retailer.

One side of the poster features Xerneas and Yveltal, who are the legendary monsters from the two role-playing games. Xerneas, who is the cover star for “Pokemon X,” is part of the new fairy type category. Yveltal, the mascot for “Pokemon Y,” is categorized as both a dark and flying type.

The other side of the poster features a map of the Kalos region. The artwork shows off all the major cities and other important areas that players will be exploring in their journey. The Kalos region is based on the various settings of France.

The double-sided poster measures at 28 inches in width and 22 inches in height. EB Games Canada will be handing out their exclusive pre-order bonus until their supplies are depleted. You can check out the poster, along with several other screens, in the slideshow on top of this article.

“Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” is expected to ship in Canada on Oct. 12, which is the same day as the launch in the United States. The two video games are being developed at the Game Freak studio.
